Pack clothes in gallon Ziploc bags, one bag per day. This keeps things organized and dry.

Council Camporee Postponed

ATTENTION ALL TROOPS!

Due to the extensive wet weather experienced over the last 48 hours and the forecast for the weekend- a decision has been made to postpone the Council Camporee at Kenyon Farm- Keystone Heights for this weekend. The 1 mile dirt road from the highway to the site is water logged and impassable at this time and the prospects for improving over the weekend are not good. The lack of ingress and egress to the property presents a health and safety risk to participants.

The Council Camporee is being re-scheduled for a date yet to be announced for the Fall of 2013. As soon as that date is secured we will announce. Fees paid for this weekend’s event will be held and applied for the rescheduled event. It is unfortunate that the inclement weather prohibits us from offering this event this weekend.

A lot of hard work and volunteer/staff effort has been put forth and we should all be grateful and thankful for those who have given so much to make this event possible. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Scout Executive/CEO
